Ticketing platforms hand you a payout and a spreadsheet. openCT hands you the room, still together β your attendees stay reachable as a tribe, so the next gathering opens with an audience instead of an ad budget.
Free to apply Β· No monthly fee Β· Most hosts are live within a week
List it by the hour and let organisers book the hours you're not using. You keep 100% of your rate β openCT's booking fee is paid by the host, on top, and never comes out of your side.
No commission Β· No listing fee Β· You set the hours and the rate
Both sides of a gathering live on openCT β and each is paid on its own terms.
Open mics, workshops, run clubs, supper clubs, meetups β anything where people show up for each other.
Studios, halls, rooftops, cafΓ©s, meeting rooms β anywhere with hours that currently earn nothing.
Filling a room once is a marketing problem. Filling it again is a community problem β and that is what openCT is actually built for.
Everyone who books joins the gathering's group β and it stays alive after the night ends. You're not renting an audience from an algorithm.
One tap reaches everyone from last time. Hosts here have filled a room in 36 hours with no ad spend, because the people were still in it.
Your gathering shows up in the openCT feed for people nearby. New faces find you without a campaign or a bidding war.
Title, when, where, what it costs. As many ticket tiers as you like β early bird, regular, VIP, add-ons β each with its own price and capacity. No tech, no setup call.
Your page goes live on openct.co and in the app's discovery feed. Share the link anywhere; it opens in any browser and attendees never need to install anything.
UPI, cards, wallets and net banking, collected on the booking page. You watch sold versus available update live, per tier.
Every booking mints a QR ticket. Scan from your phone β duplicates caught instantly, live head count on screen. No clipboard, no arguing at the door.
Your money lands in your bank the next day. But the room doesn't disperse: everyone stays together in the tribe, and your next announcement reaches all of them. That's when a one-off event becomes something people belong to.
Publish the hours you're free, at the rate you choose. Organisers running real gatherings book them by the hour β and you keep every rupee of your rate.
You are paid your full hourly rate. openCT's booking fee is charged to the host on top of it β never taken out of your share.
Set opening hours, minimum booking length and notice period. Accept instantly, or review every request before it's confirmed.
Hours are sold one at a time and locked the moment they're taken. Block any hour you want to keep β a held hour can't be sold twice.
Name it, say how many people it holds, add the address, and set your rate per hour. Minimum booking length and how much notice you need are yours to choose.
Open your calendar in whatever window suits you. Anything you don't publish is simply not for sale, and you can block individual hours any time.
Instant venues are booked on the spot. Review venues get a request with 48 hours to answer β accept and it's held for them, decline and nothing changes.
The host pays up front through the platform, so there's no chasing and no cash on the night. Cancellation terms are the ones you set, and they're enforced automatically.
Once the booking has happened, your settlement opens for the full amount of your rate and is paid out to your account. Every booking is listed with what's owed and what's been paid.
Nothing to pay to be here. Every fee is visible before you commit to anything.
No setup fee, no monthly fee, no minimum. Free gatherings cost nothing to list, ever. A small per-ticket fee applies only when you sell a paid ticket β shown in full before you publish.
You receive your full hourly rate. openCT's flat booking fee is charged to the host on top of your price, so nothing is ever deducted from what you quoted.
Settled into organizers' own bank accounts. Money from a gathering lands the day after it runs.

βSold out our open-mic three weeks in a row. The QR check-in killed all our entry-counting headaches.β
βSettlements hit my account the next day. No follow-ups, no calls. That alone is worth switching from spreadsheets.β
βThe push-to-past-attendees feature filled our next show in 36 hours. We didn't run a single ad.β

No setup fee and no monthly fee. We take a small per-transaction fee on each paid ticket, visible on every gathering before you publish. Free gatherings are free to list.

No. A venue can be set to book instantly or to review each request β with 48 hours to accept or decline. You can also block any individual hour you want to keep for yourself, at any time.

Yes. Cancelling a gathering triggers automatic refunds to everyone who booked, settling in 5β7 business days. Venue cancellations follow the policy the venue set, and refunds are handled by openCT rather than between the two of you.
They stay in the gathering's tribe β a group that remains active after the night ends β and you can announce your next gathering to all of them. They're your community on openCT, not a list you rebuild every time.
Five minutes to apply. Free either way. Most are live within a week.
